Level 2 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing

The Level 2 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing is ideal for those wanting an insight into the Hairdressing industry. The course is practical based and offers learners the opportunity to train in a wide range of skills such as cutting, colouring, perming, and a variety of hair styling techniques.

Entry requirements:

Level 1 Introduction into the Hair and Beauty Sector or 4 GCSEs at Grade D. You will also be expected to have a positive attitude and good attendance.

What you will learn:

The course covers the following units:
  • Working in the Hairdressing industry
  • Health & safety in the salon
  • Client consultation for hair services
  • Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp
  • Cut women's hair
  • Colour and lighten hair
  • The art of dressing hair
